I really liked  pops skating rink, i went to the other 1 , just a few times. seen the Kingamen out there when they had bands...pops was like riding a roller coaster, the floor was so wavy.....but a hole lota fun..igot to the point of being able to go around the rink on shates, but but when some of the real little kids came flying sround me on 1 lsg and backwards... well i felt pretty silly , cause i was down more than up..i always went for the bands..seen REO SPEEDWAGON, most every weekend, $1.00 cover , at the Res Lion Inn....Champaign..seen a lot of big bands get their start there...they had a 40 year reuion 2 or 3 years ago. they had a bunch of bands come back for it , i still got a flyer telling who all was gonna play...some real gooooood times there..

To hear all the trustees , none of them were guilty, Flipper Quinn asked them all to step down , most did, does that make them  guilty, besides he was gonna fire them if they didnt step down..WOW ...wonder why he flipped again...im thinlin he"s about as bad as Blogo, i think all politicians are only there for what they can gain, and thats all of them.us older folks will be alright ...but the kids and grandkids, are in a heep ol trouble if we dont get the tea bags..

Yeah DejaVu , we had plenty of parties out in Fonners old land...60"s, went in right off weat oakwood ave.  also went to the blue pond in Catlin.Hell used to swim in Kickapoo. i reckin i am gettin old...Never seen a deer unless you went to Kickapoo and seen them in a pen, if you happened to see 1 in the wild, you had braggin rights for a good long while. well those were the good ol days, i went to  Diamond  school for a minute, i lived on Mauck Lane until I- 74 was built.....in fact it took our house ,had some fun times out there..     Everybody back then were real nice, the ladies came around and brought  cakes and all kinds of  food....Welcomed us to the neighborhood...Dont hear about that anymore i reckin

I think Bill Black should just retire, and go away...but i think Flpper Quinn will give the trustee"s seat to him...I thot the Gov. would fire the 2 last trutees if they didnt resign...he should give the 1"s that step down their jobs back..they need to start clean and let them all go.

Well i i finally got on here. Thank you, DegaVu very much for helping me through it. I too lived out west and swam in Ed Fonners ponds. we hac some great parties out there. I used to get a kick out of Ed, we would sit in the Nugget and drink a couple beers and Ed told me i could fish in them ponds, he let almost everyone fish there., but Vernon his son would catch me in there and always try an run me out .....i always told him to go ask his dad...he would dtill be at the Nugget.. great memories...........Then moved to Rabbit town..really liked it down there, had a lot of fun.
