Thanks GA. I was not standing up for Bush. I am just saying it has been around forever. Maybe voting in new politicians will not help, but you have to admit the ones we have are certainly not doing what We have hired them to do. Most of them have been in Washington so long they think they own it. They forget who they work for, not the President or the Cabinet, but for us ,the people.I believe there should be term limits so someone else can mess up our lives. (a little tongue in cheek). The really sincere ones, as you so aptly stated, soon fall into the same rut as the others. Corruption and the love of power and money can ruin a good soul. I pray every day for my children and grand children who are going to shoulder the burden of this enormous debt and corruption of power. That is all. I am done. Blood pressure going up. You are a good lady GA. Giod Bless. Or is it not politically correct to say that any more?

In talking to friends and family and even to strangers, I have never in all my years seen and heard people so angry about our politicians on both sides of the aisle. so many have commented, they say to contact your reps . I have and many of them have also, to no avail.I asked one Senator why they felt they still deserve to get raises and still all the perks they do, his answer? Because we work hard and deserve them. I asked about all the families living on unemployment barely making it. He said, that will all be fixed. When and how? ? I really have lost faith in the present Government. You better believe when it comes time to vote,I will exercise my rite to try to get rid of all of them. Fool me once, ok fool me twice you pay.Corrupt government has been around a long ,long time. It didn't just start with the Bush administration. The difference now is, people are waking up and catching on.Sorry felt the need to vent!!!. Yes I do still have that Right!!!!

My question is ,how will they be able to pay a fine if they are not employed? I really think the President needs to work on helping people get jobs. I understand he is ,I call campaigning ,again about health care. He seems to be obsessed. His mark in history is tainted, if he does not help the working man.

I believe in my heart as much as I hate violence of any kind, this going to be the norm. In our fair city, on a main street, two (I will call them Thugs), my right, walked into a rest urent, ordered ,ate and then got up and proceeded to rob the business. Got away clean. What if they had turned the gun on a patron, would the patron not have the right to carry and protect them selves.?I think so.Our world has gotten so violent and out of control. The criminals get the justice, we get the drags. My husband always carried a gun, with a permit because he was in a business where collectibles were involved. He would not have hesitated to proect his family or himself from harm. And I truly believe it will be that way again. The criminal element in our town worsens everyday, so people will be more apt to carry to protect. Just my take like it or no.

I agree with you Mh. It is just like the Government. High paying positions being created on how to create jobs instead of using that money to give people jobs. Our President declared while campaigning that he was going to work to promote better education and better teachers. Seems to me like they are missing the boat. with teachers being laid off and Administrators getting higher wages. Scales seemed to be tipped in favor of people sitting in offices instead of good teachers trying to help students. Seems crazy to me. Two of my grand daughters both graduated with high honors with teaching degrees last year. They both took jobs in another sector due to the instability of teaching jobs now.One substitutes because teaching is her first love. I think the need to employ teachers is more important than being a desk jockey at this time. Cut back on some of the assistants and do their own jobs. But that will never happen. The less education, the more kids on the streets.

There are some on the Council against raising taxes. They can stand for what they believe, but are sadly outnumbered when it comes to the vote. I just wonder if the President will find these people at Bungee jobs? He claims to be creating jobs, but I think if he would ask the men or women who are looking for jobs, they would say it isn't so.

DITTO.DITTO, DITTO. With the way our country is going down the tubes, what difference does it make what a wealthy golfer does? It is his mess to clean up. Our country needs to focus on what will affect our lives. His personal life is just that. I don't see all the news networks prempting when our military get killed or are fortunate to make it home. Come on people get your priorites in order!! Jeez.
