Yes! I almost wish I had a business, perhaps I'd call it "Ollie's Pumpkin Patch", but I've never grown a punkin before!

If you had to generate discussion on this forum by introducing new topics, which of the following would be your 1st choice?
a) Are your keys organized? b) Do you enjoy sneezing? c) How often do you think of hydogen peroxide?

d) none of these: I'd chose "How long to old wounds fester?"

If Obama gets in there for 4 more years, HOW HIGH do you predict gasoline to be when he finally goes home to Chicago?

$8, easy, but I cut out joyriding around the $3 mark.

WHO do you think will be winning the contest?!

Yes.

IS there any reason why you've given a short answer, like most normal people who see long-winded posts as abmormal, as egotistical, as seeking attention desparately, or at least something abnormal, even though most people read at least 200 wpm, of little common everyday words, and at best, your posts would only take perhaps TWO minutes,,,,which by some yardsticks is only 2/1440 = .13PERCENT of one's entire day,,,,hmmm, is that percentage what they pay for your money now?

No.

Do you enjoy the Cubs being a spoiler for the Cards, almost as much as a Cub's World Series?

Yes, rice, 10 min. in the micro, very good, also old-fashioned oatmeal, yum, very filling.

Would you please compose a poem for us?

Oh, tis when the sounds
That breech the loony nite
Do never the twain shall mark,

That the hebolts of perth
Beseech the quivering palms
and Gumby maximizes with
mirth.

Do you use the word "gurgle" often? (5 points!)

No, "gargle" or even "Gargoyle", but knot "gurgle".

Do you know where you can see Oliver in person not long from now?

Sorry, no, I'm a slooooooow learner. BUT I'd like to give a genuine (cause I like the fellow!) PRELIMINARY CONGRATS to the winner, who set a good pace, and only trailed the actual posts by 20-some. I'd give the special lady 1st, in my book, the thought of which is actually why I'm here posting (but DeJa, I'm here till you get tired of my drivel and/or save some money I assume and go the way of 99% of the forums....

I will add, hearing nothing to the contrary, that the 5 who were really in there are the old school, been around a long time, have posted a lot over the years. And my comment is this: *where* is all the new, fresh, growth? (with all deference to the old gang) but I can now more closely predict, that, say, SIX months from now, if the same situation is being repeated, it will be essentially the SAME results. (no growth)

But, I can admire the optimism of youth, and perhaps ego. It takes a little age to really begin to see some things, and by then, it is SO easy to forget,,,,,a REAL PARADOX!   Regards, Oliver (sure HOPE this indirect double-speak hasn't broken any rules!)

Golly, I got so carried away, I forgot to ask a question. So, I'll make up for it and double-up: WHAT has been the CLOSEST to your "MISSION" in posting online? (since it is highly doubtful anyone else will reply, I'll go ahead and answer, if that's OK?)

Oliver's "mission" has been,,,,,,apparently,,,,to over-post,,,,to insult,,,,,to try to enrage,,, to be crude, to be obscene, to  break EVERY forum rule,,,to show almost a mental illness in engaging in anti-social behavior, and has shown a  general hatred of humanity (WHICH includes B***/P***) and he has been the closest to a "CHARLES MANSON" online as you'll ever see.  THAT is why,,,,he *should* be banned from ALL forums!!

Question for the next poster: waffles OR pancakes?

Pancakes are faster, easier, so that's my general answer, but there *are* times when nothing beats a golden brown, crisp waffle.

Are you posting now that the nights and longer and coooler?
