Oh, I forgot an old one: drively, so I am  "warm&fuzzy, drively, delusional Oliver!"

HEY, I like it!

Do you have people calling you names? Do they hurt you very much? They shouldn't if you consider the source. Only with those closest to you should be the repository of your hurt feelings. The rest of the world really doesn't care about your feelings.

You only hurt the ones you love?

Just curious...Are you a Hobbit?
(only if YOU aren't)

No, I won't rehash it all, I only wanted my posts removed and the response was a very weak "it would make the continuity confusing", big deal, as though any reader would get upset, that's too weak a reason considering I was the one insulted.

Anyway, I did get to do a little guest reading there, and, I'd say the forum is as I would've predicted: pretty darn quiet, just a little pulse, and nowhere near the growing, thriving community of deep thinkers. At this point I have no particular reason to wish the forum in question to do particularly well. When I was a part of it, having been INVITED BY THE GUY!--yes, I hoped it would break the dying trend of local forums, but, it seems to be the same ol' pocket of a few local posters and if there's a boom, I can't see how or why.

I see no 50-buck contests at the moment, guess they didn't pay off in the long run. Funny, it was my comments ON the rules of one contest that must've raised the guy's younger ire, well, along with my disrespect towards dweeg and "2 others" who MAY have been reading--which is really quite ridiculous esp. now 2mo 2 wks later.

I'll check in from time to time since it is still quite an insult to have my ISP blocked from even READING the diminishing activity there, I mean, "guests" who may be mass murderers are allowed to read, but, NOT your worse-than-a-mass-murderer "Oliver".

I was requested to "lay off", to let it go, and to this day I'm still surprised by the source of that request. It just shows that what I'd do for one person is no guarantee of the same loyalty from that person, a sober lesson of life.

But, if the little clan over there enjoys the little forum, having to worry about not offending the owner, hey, that's their kicks. I wouldn't post there like I did BEFORE Sept. 5th for anything less than, oh, $21,000, a typical cost of a few days in ICU these days.

Enjoy, Life is TOO Short. 'u'

Ya know, you have trash talked me and DAC for sometime now and I have said nothing about it, you truely have issues, acting like a kid who didn't get his toy at Walmart. You are a forum troll Oliver and like most other trolls you don't realize it. Is DAC quiet? Sure, however you think you know what is going on there but in reality you don't, it is doing exactly what I want it to and as far as $50 bucks goes, it's my money if I want to give it to a member then who should really care. Get over yourself. And on another note, say bye bye to vermilion forumer, it will soon be shut down.

Hi Jeremy, nice to see/read you.

Are you talking about this forum?

Not this one, but this one http://vermilionforum.10.forumer.com/ for copyright infringement. See, I do have my limits and have had enough trash talked about me, but copy and pasting posts off my site and onto another violates DMCA (look it up Oliver), normally it wouldn't bother me, but I will make exception for those who won't leave me alone.

Holy crap...I guess I never knew about that forum! Or if I did I must have forgotten about it. So Vermilion Forum is your forum also?

Oh ok...now I think I get it. Oliver was C&Ping stuff from your forum onto the Vermilion Forum and not giving you credit or a link back to the original material...........right?

I did delete my initial reply here to better focus on what Jeremy has suggested: that I was copying posts from his little forum. That is simply not so.  The one example HE copied and posted here was and is NOT a copy!! It is simply my words explaining in my own words what I read there as a guest while I was on someone else's computer.
.
So, where are these copied posts, Jeremy?
What on earth does the forumer have to do with any of this?
And No, I didn't look up the acronym, Jeremy. I'm knot the only one who needs to look up things, though. If DeJa sees "DMCA"  violitions in my  posts here, I want her to address them and correct the problems.  I believe her to be a fair person/moderator.

NOV. 19TH POST!!! Good God, Jeremy, that's almost TWO months ago! WHY are you now bringing up something that I've not mentioned at any length SINCE then?  You must be a little kid too. All you had to do is honor my request after you unfairly banned me to delete my name and posts from your quiet little forum and accept the possible  "continuity" confusion--which wouldn't amount to a hill of beans. And I can see now where a little kid would even want to close down another forum just to spite me though it has no connection to any of this.
.
I'd suggest you move on as I have.  You must have far more important problems. Thanks, Oliver

Oliver did NOT copy and paste from there to my knowledge. I did and I also gave credit to where it came from. It might also be a problem for him that in the same post, I promoted the Schuler's Flower Shop in Hoopeston, who have been in business for 99 years..........and by coincidence are a competitor of his business, that he promotes on his forum...as is his right to do so.
Perhaps he would prefer that I not promote my wife's family business....or perhaps by shutting down that forum, he can silence that promotion?

Censorship at it's finest is still alive and well in Vermilion County apparently!

Hi Everybody!

I really don't know what all happened at DAC forum so I really can't say.

I feel so dumb but I am not very good at acronyms, so I didn't have any idea what DMCA stands for. I thought maybe it was "Don't Make Caustic Accusations" but figured that wasn't right. Sooooo I did a search (I'm very good at that ) and if I found the right thing, it apparently stands for "Digital Millennium Copyright Act". I probably wouldn't know a DMCA violation if it came up and bit me on the butt. And as far as copying and pasting goes...I'm the queen of copy and paste! Hey...if it's text on the internet I figure it's fair game but I do most always provide a link to the source material.

I am 100% for free speech. Just don't yell that the forum is on fire! That might actually be against the law.

All I can say is my way of moderating is not to moderate at all......it just works for me.

Hello Dead Forum! Long may you live!
I'm breaking through the eternal silence here to follow up on a topic near and dear to my  ol' heart,,,what's left of it...
"Blue Moon" time once again!! I just saw a meme on FBk so it MUST be true, July 31st! And, shucks, I missed the one for July 1st...

In any event, I won't keep you, you're busy I know, maybe fooling around on FBk under some alias, though that would be breaking the rules for I.D. porpoises since over there they want a little accountability, like, instead of spewing out a lotta this and that anonymously, you know...I always called that a little cowardly, but I'm no Charton Heston myself, lol.
.
Funny, I just thought of Buzz.....I wonder where he went,,,,eloped with "Penn" no doubt, maybe married now come to think of it. I wish "them" well, though.
.
Oh, and ol' "Winston". Actually he/she (will leave that opinion up to y'all) was the unwilling creator of this "Blue Moon" fetish of mine. She said she'd post once in a blue moon. Considering many have passed by in the past few years, she apparently mis-spoke. I mean, I'm entitled to take things literally. Amelia Bedelia did. But I apologized for my evil posts alluding to her. (Whatever she must've considered inappropriate) Her merciless, lengthy, lugubrious lambast should be on this forum somewhere and if you can't find it, it is in my FBk notes under "Bru Oliver", Danville IL I should re-read it and see how right or wrong it seems now.
.
But I must be off again, possibly forever. I almost didn't make it back here. I'd forgotten my password but got it on the 3rd try since I don't change it often, really, have little to hyde. Anyway, for the possible 2 eyes that may see this, I hope whatever I've posted has stayed within the bounds of acceptable posts. I would sure hate to be banned! Have a good year! 'o'
