The crooks and creeps that run this state are still too cowardly to step up and reform the state's pension systems.  If it were up to me, I would give them two weeks to pass reform legislation or they should be tried as traitors.

Gee Terry, isn't that why they're called political PARTIES?   All play, no work.  And who knows better how to party at others' expense than the jokers in Springfield and Chicago?

But maybe I'm being too harsh again;  I bet it IS hard work pretending to deserve those raises.  Roll Eyes

I'm with you on that Terry but we both know that's not how things work in the government, especially in Illinois. You're probably never going to see any of these congress critters get tried for anything even though I'm sure there's lots of them that deserve it. I don't know if they're cowards or if they're just stupid.  Sad

When I was in school, I majored in party.  Guess I should have been an Illinois politician.  And, oh yeah, I love spending other people's money.  I'm very good at that.  Maybe I should have been the Governor.
