Skip, if you go to your profile, you may be able to change the settings of your screen, more to your liking.
As for your other question, the way I understand it, DejaVu owns it, and it looks as if Midas helps out. Don't believe I have ever run into Midas before, but so far they seem like a great person.
This place is going to be hopping!!

I set the forum up...but it belongs to SMF (Simple Machine Forums) There is no staff or mods. I believe Posters can moderate themselves. Midas the Administrator...who is also me...and is used for the purposes of keeping things separate in my own mind. If you go to your profile there should be the option to modify Current Theme: Forum or Board Default (change) click on change which should give you the option to go to the default theme which is light blue I think.

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity, but the one that removes awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside. --Allan Bloom

Take this shovel and remove some of the obscurity to clarify what underlies the non obvious.
