During my school years I played three instruments plus the piano.

When The Beatles hit the radio-waves, I never played them again.  Bought a guitar and have had several ever since.

You could say, 'I cut my teeth on the Beatles.'

The World of Me
When I open my eyes and I see
What is it ?
It's the World of me that I see.

I know not if you exist
For all I know
Your are in only the World of Me.

Should I care about you, you see?
I have never looked at thee,
So you only are in the World of me
Welcome
a new line
What is over the sea?
Are their lands far away?
Or is it just the same old World of Me?

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity, but the one that removes awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside. --Allan Bloom
