Carlin didn't tell jokes.....He told the truth in a way that sometimes brought out 'nervous laughter' from the audience. His 'delivery' was comical.

He was of the greatest, didnt show anyone any mercy, but that was George..No topic was off limits to him..i think he had the guts to say wut alot of us was afrad to say......i got about all his standup shows recorded...watch them every once in awhile...still crackes me up... greatly missed
