I've noticed the Fun Stuff, Games, Jokes - ETC. board has no threads. It's kind of redundant anyway...so how about if I change it to something useful.?

I was thinking something like a local "Advertising" "Shopper" or "Buy Sell Trade" type board. Members could post "Classified" type stuff like Jobs...Yard/Garage Sales, things for sale or wanted, stuff on Ebay...whatever. I could make sub boards (child boards) just to keep things more organized.

Any thoughts...ideas...Huh

Oh ye of great faith!   Cheesy
Well, yeah, every VV thread DOES seem to be a Fun Stuff thread already, Wink so sure, why not a distinct FOR SALE area?  I'm assuming you mean the Arts & Entertainment Board (Also: Crafting, Hobbies, Humor, TV, Music, Books, Movies, Video, SHOPPING, Games).

(But just know if I run into a really good joke someday, I'm going to glue it in the most inappropriate place here.   [To see if Cap'n P. or Buz will notice.]   If it's a really REALLY good joke though, I might be forced to SELL it, so yeah, in that case an AD area'd be handy.  And for those of us with Attention Deficit Disorder, every thread's also already an ADD area.  Ha.)  [That attempt at humor, as you see, was merely a FREE trial offer;  ya get what ya pays for.]    Grin

Didn't look so bare with me. How about a "Misc" where anything goes that doesn't have a home?

What would stop businesses from joining and using it to list their sale items?  Advertising costs major money to small business.  I could see it being used by them excessively if it's free!

Regular advertisers need hundreds, (more likely thousands) of pairs of eyeballs to view their ads. That's not likely to happen here...at least not for a long time. What I'm suggesting would be more interactive in getting/giving information to help or inform the members here.

If someone was having a garage sale or even if their neighbor was having one...they could post the information here. If someone is looking for a particular item...they could post it here. If someone is selling something, they could post it here. If someone knows where eggs are on sale for .59 dozen...they could post it here. It's something members here could use freely and it might actually have the potential to draw in more member from the area.  Grin

Just what exactly is an 'imput?'  I'm not sure I have to give you...to fill your 'need.'

What is an imput? Hmmmmm? Weeeeeeell....I could say imput was just a typo and that I actually meant input but that wouldn't be true. I mean....it's true that I meant input but I just spelled it wrong or I had the wrong sound in my head. When I'm thinking I don't visualize certain words...I hear them. It sounded like imput to me! It all makes perfect sense.

Your input is wanted. How's that! Grin

Anyway, it doesn't really matter because.........

All your inputs are belong to us....
