Sneaky Microsoft plug-in puts Firefox users at risk

http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9139459/Sneaky_Microsoft_plug_in_puts_Firefox_users_at_risk

A couple of days ago, Mikrosoft added 13 'updates' to my system...

My Firefox just alerted me to the ''Windows Presentation Foundation' plug-in and disabled it.

I wonder how long ago it was when Bill Gates became corrupted?

Thank you for posting this! I mostly use the Firefox browser and I just checked and sure enough...there it was. I uninstalled it and it better stay gone. I am so sick of Microsoft!

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity, but the one that removes awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside. --Allan Bloom

You may have been better off to disable rather than uninstall. There were a couple of add-ons and uninstalling them required registry changes so Mozilla decided to just disable them.

I don't use the Internet Explorer browser for exactly this reason. I use Firefox and Opera.
