" A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual doom. "-- Martin Luther King, Jr.

When Rev. King is spoken of, or reported on, nowadays, very little is said about his anti-war stance during the last year, or so, of his life.  Although many of his fellow preachers were quick to jump on the civil rights bandwagon, there were very few who joined him on his anti-war crusade.  Even today, few persons in the pulpit will denounce war.  After all, what is America good for anymore?  What preacher is going to tell his audience that we are not the good guys anymore?  What preacher is going to tell the parents or family of a dead US soldier that he died to make rich people richer, or Israelis feel safer?

Religion is what man did to G_d...  Think G_d will forgive us?  You dream...
