Anyone that goes to one place for their news and fact-checking deserves exactly what they get. Have an open mind and educate yourself from as many resources as possible.
The fact the snopes is a two-man shop doesn't make it any less reliable. They are constantly updating and changing their views as new facts arrive, and are willing to call out the truth no matter whose "agenda" it serves.
